In the early 90s, major structural alterations were needed to bring premises up to the forthcoming EU food hygiene regulations.

The processing and work area of the building was completely refurbished using food grade stainless steel, insulated panelling for the walls and fridge doors with plasticoat steel insulated panelling for the ceilings. This was to allow for a temperature controlled environment if required.

1992 All staff brought up to Food Handlers and Hygiene minimum requirements. Premises pass EU regulations and given local authority Food Establishment number.

1996 New flake ice machine purchased, allowing up to 8000Kg of ice to be produced per day.
